A child double-handed mug for dye sublimation printing. The mugs are available in two colours. 8.2 cm diameter x 13 cm tall (including cap) and with a capacity of 250 ml.

Please note that you also need a former (mould) for all of these items to prevent them deforming when heat pressed, the mugs are suitable for pressing in standard mug presses and in mug ovens.

Pressing instructions

PRESSING IN MULTI FUNCTION MUG PRESS

Suitable for pressing with our multi-function mug press using the default settings and a light pressure.

PRESSING IN A STANDARD MUG PRESS
For all mugs ensure that you preheat the (mould) former before use.

10oz mugs and pop-up mug - prepress the mug for 10 seconds then tape on the transfer and press for 2 minutes 20 seconds at 180º c at a medium pressure using the mould inside the mug.  Please note that these instructions are based on an Europa mug press - you may need to adjust for your specific press.

PRESSING IN A MUG OVEN
Set the dial on the oven to 170º c, place the aluminium former in the oven, turn the oven on and allow the oven and the former to heat up for at least ten minutes.Pre-heat the mug and wrap in the oven for 10-15 seconds, they should be handleable without gloves.Fix the printed image around the mug with heat tape and fit the wrap to the mug, put the heated former in the mug as far it will go.

Place the mug wrap and former in the oven with the base of the mug facing up and heat for 7 minutes.After 7 minutes turn the mug, wrap and former over and heat for another 7 minutes.Remove the mug, wrap and former from the oven, remove the former from the mug (place back in the oven if another mug is to be pressed), remove the wrap and transfer paper from the mug and allow to cool.Please note that these instructions are based on a standard halogen mug oven - you may need to adjust for your specific oven.
